Most useful items in Scribblenauts?

I haven’t beaten the game yet, but I have found several very useful items. My favorites being:

Pterodactyl (helpful mode of flight that can can also be used to attack)
Blob (pretty much a monster that can kill anything)
Lunar rover (easy transport on land or sky)
Drawbridge (the longest thing I could find to cross a gap)
Fixed ladder (twice the height of the plain ladder)
Excalibur (a very neat weapon)
Invisibility cloak
Pit (placed it under explosives so they could explode in a safe environment)
Tranquilizer gun (for those you can’t hurt)
Pillow/Pogo Stick (give it to those who want to hurt you but you can’t hurt them)
Slide (I used this when something threatened to drop on the star and destroy it. The slide would reflect it away!)

* Manbearpig is also a personal favorite for those of you that are also south park fans

Well, that’s about it so far. Other than that, I simply find the communist and the capitalists response to money dropped in front of them hilarious

Djinn is my favorite for distracting people you aren’t allowed to kill; they’ll chase her until she turns into a valuable.

Try teleporter too at the title screen for the fun of it. It’ll take you to the gaming office.

Kraken is great for killing other fish within the levels that are filled with them.

Pegusus is my favorite for flight other than wings which works well in levels with limited space.

Also, if you need a button pushed on (like one on a wall and not on the ground) it helps to put an elephant with a mouse on the other side so the elephant gets scared and runs to the button long enough to get you through a closed gate. I’ve needed that on a couple of levels.

Another cool one is Madusa. Write her in and then kill her and her head will be left over. You can throw it at creatures to turn them to stone. This works well for levels where you can’t kill the bad guy.

I don’t know if you had trouble with this, but on the level where you have to get the bad guys to heaven, give them each a cross. It took me forever to figure this out.

Also, magnet works well for metal objects that are in your way.

And try a sink hole or trench/cove for things you need to get by. Like the level with all the wolves. I got them all in a hole and just went right by them no problem.

Hell hound is pretty strong too for killing things.

And try arsenist because it’s funny. He runs around dropping lit matches everywhere.

And incase you haven’t tried this yet, get God on your side. He’s pretty strong and won’t attack you after he’s done killing someone which is always a plus.

Sucubis is a funny one too.

Those are some of the helpful ones and some that are just pretty funny. Have fun!

i dont know the game but you can try guns of they are allowed.

Can you summon a box or something to put them in? Couldn’t you float over them with a bubble/balloon/bird?

You got the stage instructions wrong. What they actually mean you to do is to collect all three flowers: the one near the bee, the one on the water and the one on the far right of the map, up on a mountain or something of the sort.

get a basket, then type god in and he’ll kill the bee and throw him in the water and hell kill the fish, then retrieve the flowers then for the 3rd one get a helicopter and retrieve the flower and then give them to the girl

I used a flyswatter to kill the bee, a shark to kill the fish, and a helicopter to get to the cliff.

The God and helicopter option is better for Ollars, but that is what makes this game so great.
